“From Africa” is a joyous collection that took me back to my figurative, fine art roots. The elegant figures in ‘Native Women’ are simplified to create a strong outline, and the bold vibrancy of the garments really bring a rich and cheerful feel to the designs. This is complemented by the earthy tones of ‘Fired up’ and ‘African masks’ and the lively, almost dancing patterns of ‘clustered dots' and 'tribal squares' really bring a celebratory feel to this collection.
